Football is a very favourite sport in most of the countries of the world. It is a rough and tough game and is for tough people. I feel this game should be encouraged in India instead of giving undue importance to cricket.
It can be played in all seasons and even in rain one enjoys playing it.
The only disadvantage of the game is that many get injured but this is what makes the game tough and rough.
