I had an eye on this place since the time it opened in Goa. Since we do not receive snow-fall here and it's too far for us to visit places like Shimla, Manali or Kashmir, this park was the only option for us and kids to enjoy some snow.

So, after a long wait, this summer break we decided to visit this snow-park on one of the Sundays. Kids were really excited as they were getting bored at home being on a holiday from studies and school.

We were 3 families together with 3 kids. You need to be in a group and have some kids along to really enjoy here as there is nothing much for adults to have fun.

This is located in famous area of Goa, near Baga beach in Tito's lane. Tito's club is quite popular and finding it is no big deal. The lanes are narrow and taking big vehicles can be a problem. There is lack of parking place, you need to be lucky to find one.

Fees I thought were on higher side. 750/- per head, no concession for kids! When they started, I believe it was about 500/- which has been increased to 750 - which could be because of summer season, which is when most people would come here to feel the ice. However, we negotiated and got discounts for kids - they were charged 500/-. So, in all we paid 2000/- per family(750 each for 2 adults and 500 for a kid) - which I think was a fair deal.

Park in itself isn't very huge as such but it is ok to have some fun. Do not worry about carrying jackets etc along, as they provide you with them along with shoes, gloves, caps etc.

Once you are inside, the fun begins: snow all around you. There is just one ride, besides you can do some sledging. There are ice sculptures of polar bear, snowman, two royal seats made of snow - where one can sit and take pictures. There are balls, frisbees around for you to play with. It definitely is fun-time for kids. There is music and songs being played continuously. In between there is storm-like situation created with loud noise of thunders and lights blinking mimicking the lightening with two big fans blowing air and some snow around. However, there is no snow as such falling around - which you can only witness in real places like Shimla.

They offer a complimentary drink and there is small-time restaurant outside, in case you want to have some snacks.

The place is open from 11Am to 11PM, there is no restriction on time limit for you to enjoy inside - it's unlimited, however you cannot really be inside for long. But you can take a break, come out and then get-in whenever you need to.

Staff are polite and service/assistance is good. They were helpful to us in locating some of our missing stuff.

It was exciting to know that there is a snow-park in Goa and it's definitely worth one-time visit.
