Okay, let me thank Snapdeal which ruined the plans of purchasing a TV to view T20 WC, I guess they never wanted our plan to be executed.
We ordered a Micromax 50 inches LED from snapdeal for a great price from the vendor "BMS DISTRIBUTORS-MUNDKA-PRIMO-VOI" .
We received the order within the range of the promised delivery date( the last day in the date range ofcourse), no complains with the delivery.
Now, we called up the Micromax to get it installed, he visited after a day to install.
When he unpacked it, he did find a defect that there is a gap between the screen and the bezel and LED light is being emitted through it.
The micromax installation guy called the company and informed us that, this has to be returned to the source and Snapdeal will replace it.
So we raised a return request stating the reason to Snapdeal, and that's it, its been ages sonce then, three weeks and no response
called up the call center guys two times, we got so many apologies and promises that they will take the item and replace it, but believe it or not no one called, we provided alternate numbers too.
One day they called up and said that some one will come and inspect the item and then they will take the item back to the seller.
That day never came.
Many emails from our side, ( its just one way, I guess no one cares to respond to the emails.
It is going to be close to a month and the product is lying at our place as a liability.
I guess its high time for Snapdeal to take their consumers seriously, I guess they were good as deal platform rather than a online store.
