Snapdeal procures stock only after placing orders!

I've placed orders 7 times from Snapdeal.com out of which 5 times orders are cancelled from my end or from snapdeal.com. Its real test for your patience.


1st Order on 9th Oct 2012, Lee Cooper Black & Yellow Floaters delivered after 3 weeks after repeated msgs, phone calls to paid customer care!


2nd Order on 1st Dec 2012 three T-shirts they broke the order into 3 suborders and sent me an USI T-shirt which is wrong size and I struggled for an exchange for over 35 days and finally cancelled from my end to have a refund. I never knew what happened to those other 2 T-shirts(sub-orders). They never bothered replying me back to my emails. In one of my conversation I noticed that CSA told me that they have requested the items from the seller and will deliver them ASA they procure them!:( What an idea sirji, with NO STOCK IN THEIR WAREHOUSES they just have customer monies first and then, procure the item till then poor customer needs to wait for the items like'Mera number kab ayegaaa!'


For obvious reasons your number will NOT come! They will earn interest on your monies for a month or so and refund your monies and you are sure to find a line which reads as "It takes anywhere between 1-3 weeks for bank to process your refund" Is Snapdeal in 21th century where we have RTGS/NEFT like transaction modes?! They have sent me a cheque instead of a refund into my bank account! The CSA told me that they refund only in the form of cheques/Snapdeal points!:( Now, imagine what is the time lag between your payment date, your refund processing date, you getting a cheque, you depositing it into your bank account and it goes for collection? Though you don't buy an item from them they earn interest on your monies and imagine how much monies are with Snapdeal in this way?


In contrast, I've purchased 3 T-shirts from flipkart, and since one of them is a wrong size I've requested for a refund in the evening and a person collected the item in the afternoon and refund was processed in the evening and I've my refund the next day! Wow. what a great service?! Can anyone imagine such a service in India?! I've been a customer of amazon.co.uk as well for over 5 years or more and flipkart certainly stands in Amazon league wrt service.


6th Order on 21st March 2013 2:30 Am. I've made a transaction for Rs:14999/- to buy a Nasaka Minijet 12 Plus RO Water Purifier. The payment showed me a message as "Congratulations Payment succeeded" and Again went back to the same payment page where I was shown to pay the amount again I tried twice and made payment twice. After repeated msgs, I received a message after 2 business days that they confirmed my payment and cancelled 2nd payment and apologized for the payment gateway error they had. No refund processed till today and their estimated shipping date for the 1st order have already finished and yet the order is not dispatched even today.


I’ve no patience left. So, cancelled my original order as well! Waiting for 29998/- refund. As anticipated, received an email where i've found a line which read as "it takes anywhere between 1-3 weeks for bank to process your refund"


In between I’ve ordered STP - Engine Flush - 450 ml on 28th or so and its shipped today it seems!


So finally, I could conclude MOST OF THE PRODUCTS ARE OUT OF STOCK AND THEY PROCURE THEM FROM SELLERS/DISTRIBUTORS BEFORE WHICH THEY HOLD CUSTOMERS MONIES. I suggest always try from your trusted websites first and risk with Snapdeal.com ONLY IF YOU ARE READY TO show your
