I think SnapDeal started there business on the motive to fool people by first extracting there money thru offering deals and then reverting / cancelling deals by saying that the price is not matching.
This is what happened with me when I ordered(ID - 2531661392 dt. 1st Aug. 2014) Sony Xperia phone. SnapDeal showed me the price which I paid as an ongoing offer for the limited period for which I also got the receipt stating all the details regarding the payment made and discount given.
However very next day, when I checked the status of the order to know when that will be delivered to be; I was surprised and shocked to know that SnapDeal cancelled the order of their own without informing me or taking my consent for cancellation.
This is the second instance when I placed an order; made the payment and SnapDeal cancelled it by their own without informing me.
And when I spoke with the CC, they said it is in there terms and condition to cancel the order if they want to by anytime.
As a consumer, do we also own some right to know what, when and why the order is cancelled.
Currently, I'm looking for someone who can help me in filling case in "Consumer Court" against SnapDeal. If anyone who has any idea, then please revert back.
Thanks
