I ordered multiple things from Snapdeal in past and I was quiet satisfied but now. No Snapdeal again. And the reasons are,


1) While placing the order, Snapdeal app crashed and my 100 Rs cash back coupon failed to work. Upon escalating this with customer support, they reimbursed me 100 Rs in my freecharge wallet. At this point I thought its ok. System erros might happen but they reimbursed amount in freecharge wallet so no problem.


2) They handed over order to my office without even calling and informing me. Next day(5 Nov 2015) I got my parcel in hand when I inquired at my office after checking order delivered status online. I thought its ok since parcel was seal packed. They do not have courtesy to call me, that they have came down to deliver my order and handed over order to somebody else without asking me. But I thought, its ok.


3) While placing the ordered they highlighted 500 Rs freecharge cash back in big words. Even while placing order it was flashing on my screen. But later they said its one time per user id and since I got it in my previous order, I will not get it in this order. The question is why they were flashing it in big words then while placing this order? Who cares to read their terms and condition when they show 500 Rs cash back while placing order. They should have software system in place which should show only offer which are applicable for me while placing order. But anyway, I settled down thinking to let it go.


4) I assumed that order will be good only since its seal packed. I thought to open it on the day of Diwali(11 Nov 2015), the auspicious day. But all of my hopes shattered on the day to discover that received device was of extremely pathetic quality and in spite of having 2 GB RAM and 16 GB ROM hanging like hell. Was overheating near ear speaker while calling for even 1 minute with Internet off.  Ear speaker voice was so distorted that its not audible. Speaker voice was very harsh. Phone display wakes up minimum 4 seconds after we press power button. When any incoming call comes, screen shows phone pick up option or display 5-6 seconds later and it starts ringing before that. You can hear ring but you cant pick it up because display will remain off for few seconds. Smart wake up feature gets delayed infinitely. Upon pressing power button it starts working and till then no action by phone. Phone is working pathetically slow and especially overheating and delayed display wake up. Upon informing Snapdeal about it on 12 Nov, 2015 they gave extremely rude shock and asked me to repair the device from service center stating that 7 days of device returning period is over. They adviced me to get the device repaired and if it cant be repaired then get DoA certificate from service center and then they will see what to do. I sent mails after mails to their customer care but no resolution. Why should I go to service center just because I informed Snapdeal one day late about it. Faced lots of harassment from Snapdeal and multiple times requested in Email to preferably let me buy another phone model(doubting manufacturer) or provide fault free device of same make atleast. But they denied taking any responsibility and I ended up in frustration. Snapdeal indeed does not value customer relationship and do not bother to provide any resolution. They do not take responsibility of product they sold. Once they sell, they forget and then you are on your own. Why should I go to service center for the faulty piece sold by Snapdeal?


They do not value customer trust even. Once they sell, they forget and you are on your own. I mentioned multiple times that I have kept phone as it is and did not remove default screen sticker(default screen guard sticker with specifications written on it) and phone is just opened out of box and its exactly as new. All plastic wrapping and everything is preserved. But still they do not show any empathy or courtesy to pick it up and let me buy some other phone. They do not bother about how much it hurts to see brand new phone malfunctioning like this. I don't have time to go to service center which is more than 30 Kms away from my place. Spending 500 Rs after transport and a day's leave at office costs me more than phone price. Even after sending multiple Emails and raising multiple complains, no response from Snapdeal. They simply ignore Emails or keep repeating same story asking me to go to Service center and then they will see. Once they sell, they are the king and you are a beggar. This is my last resort to post this message here and whoever see this, please please please do not buy anything important from Snapdeal with your hard earned money.


If Snapdeal has any ethics/morality/dignity left then let me buy some other device in place of this brick,  and please post resolution provided to me here in front of public without asking me to run at service center and I would be happy to withdraw my hard feelings. Is not this phone sold by you? Never again Snapdeal.
