For moving to our new apartment, I ordered a Coffee Table size 2' x 2' in first week of October 2014. Full payment made while booking order. In retrospect, I feel I should have opted for Cash on Delivery.


When the item did not come even after 2 weeks, I contacted Snapdeal; they kept assuring that the item has been dispatched through Gati Couriers and will be delivered shortly.Phone calls to Snapdeal and Gati were futile as they gave only assurances for delivery within 2 days. This went on for 2 weeks.


We moved to our new apartment. Snapdeal was informed of change of address and they assured it will be delivered at the new address. Finally it was delivered at our old address on 19 November, nearly 40 days after placing order. I had to spend another Rs. 200/- to bring it to my new home.


On opening the package, I found that the Coffee table is of a larger size 2.75' x 2.75' though we ordered 2'x2' size. Too large for our small drawing room. But the design was the same as what we ordered.Snapdeal should have informed me if the same size was not available. They had no explanation of the inordinate delay in delivery.


I have snapped all deals with Snapdeal.
