Courier: Bluedart


Packing by seller: Simple bubble cover on top. It couldn't protect the product. I had received the product in damaged condition. The polycarbonate lid of 0.5litre mixer mate was physically damaged.Seller packed the product with a simple bubble paper(NO SNAPDEAL COVER or any air bags) .


I asked the snapdeal to send a replacement for the damaged lid but they refused to do so. They asked me to send the whole product again to the sellers address.Snapdeal booked a return ticket with Bluedart and asked me to book a reverse pickup.(Why don't they book a reverse pickup?I don't know the reason)


Here is the worst part- 1


I made a call to bluedart for reverse pick up on 24th oct and they put me in queue for nearly 35 minutes.(Call charges Rs.70) Finally c.care executive told that they have heavy loads of shipment to delivere due to festival holidays and asked me to book a reverse pickup on 28th Oct. I informed about this to snapdeal customer care.


Here is the worst part- 2


On 28th Oct 2014, snapdeal sent an email stated that


This email is with regards to the request #10818061 against the order number 3090838622. We had initiated a return request against the same and our courier partner attempted to pick up the product.As per the update shared by them, you have decided to retain the product and cancel the return request. Please let us know if you still want to return the product.


OMG.!None in the world will like to retain a damaged product!


Here is the worst part-3


I made a call again to bluedart on 28th and they refused to do the reverse pickup and told the same reason again. Call charges Rs.60


I made a call again to bluedart on 29th and waited for a long time in queue upto 12:15pm and finally get connection with customercare executive and she told that the booking time is over and asked me to book tomorrow.Call charges Rs.120


I'm totally fed up with snapdeal and bluedart due to their pathetic customer service.


To get a replacement for polycarbonate lid, I lost nearly Rs.250 for phone call charges and lost my peace of mind.  I could have buy the lid for less than Rs.250/-


Update:


I made a call to Bluedart again today and they asked me to wait upto 3rd Nov for reverse pickup.


*I have only one question to snapdeal.


I had sent the pictures of the broken lid to them immediately after receiving the product .I couldn't understand why don't you just send a replacement lid to me!.*
