Placed order on 28/04/13(order no- 2020780063), but not even dispatched after 5 days, although it was intimated that it would be dispatched by 29/04/13.Every time I call customer care, I get the same robotic answer -"We are trying to deliver the product as soon as possible. Once your product is shipped from our side, you will receive an email and SMS notification with the courier details".
The funny thing is that first it was intimated that there is some problem from the courier end.But again when contacted the CC, it was said that the product was not received from the seller end yet. It clearly reveals that they are concealing the fact.
I am an old user of Flipkart & started using Snapdeal recently from January.Never faced such problem with Amazon.in & Flipkart.I don't know how would Snapdeal would manage to stand in the competition if this is their business strategy.
After going through few reviews on mouthshut I got an idea that may be my order would be cancelled after few days and the price would be hiked to buy the product in increased price(although product is still available with the seller on the site) .If it happens it would be my last order on snapdeal & I would never return to the site and warn my friends against this site.
Hope things don't go to that extreme and product is delivered soon.
