I ordered a pair of jbl 949 speakers and pioneer ts-a1605c car speakers on december 18th 2014.


I was initially impressed by the free doorstep installation offer. The Offer Is applicable on Car Audio & GPS purchases worth Rs 4000/ - or more on one bill.


So I ordered two pair of speakers. together it just over 7000rs. Now I called snapdeal to confirm that I am eligible for the free installation service. the snapdeal rep declined the offer. he said each speaker has to cost 4000+ individually.


Mine costed 3500 individually and together 7000. he told me I am not eligible for offer. I read the terms and condition again. it clearly said any bill value above 4000 is eligible.


My bill value was 7000+. so I called back and after an endless argument with snapdeal. I asked for the supervisor. the supervisor was more sensible and agreed that I am eligible for the offer. I went ahead with the purchase.


I received both the speakers by 23rd.


the jbl speakers were broken when I received them and the pioneer speakers look like a used pair of speakers.


I was very eager to have the speakers installed in the car so I did not bother complaining about the pioneer speakers.


however the jbl speakers were broken, there was no way I could use that. so I sent the pictures to snapdeal and asked them for a


replacement. They agreed. now starts the nightmare. the reverse pickup was promised within two days. today is the 8th of


january, the broken speakers are lying in my home yet to be picked up. it has been 16 days now and I have called the more times than I can remember.


I have called snapdeal numerous times. every time I called they extend the pickup date by 2 days. and it does not get picked up and I call them again


and again they ask for 2 to 3 days extension everytime. now it is 16 days! and nobody has even called me. though snapdeal says that they had tried picking it up once.


it is a lie. nobody ever came to pick it up(there is always someone at home+ nobody called me).


out of frustration I asked for a new pair of speakers to be sent out since I am fed up waiting but snapdeal informed me that they will not do it until the reverse pickup is done.


I called and asked for a manager but nobody ever called me. finally I got to speak to a supervisor on call when I insisted. he was useless.


he could not do any thing for me. he agreed that it was not my mistake that a broken pair of speakers was sent. he agreed that it


was not my fault that the reverse pickup was not done. but he insisted he cannot do anything for me and I had to wait for 72 hours for the


pickup to be done. I waited 72 hours, the speakers still lie with me as of today. I asked him to send me a new pair of speakers to make up for the


mess snapdeal has created. he told me he knows it is snapdeal mistake, but he will not do anything to fix my problem.


even if they eventually will pick and replace the product in future, I have a bad feeling that they will just stick the broken speker with glue and send it back. I have made note of the product serial nuber to verify this.


but first of all they should bother to do the reverse pickup. it is more than 21 days now since I made the purchase and I am feeling really frustrated.
