I had recently(28.07.14) ordered an V-Guard voltage stabilizer from Snapdeal.com and I was suppose to receive my item on 31.07.14. I didn't receive the item so I checked my order status through my account and I was really surprised to see that there was no status after 29.07.2014 which was saying "your order is shipped and will be delivered by estimated time", which was 7 Aug 2014. I checked the Bluedart site to track order and it was showing that product handed over on 29.07.14 but still lying with them only not moved out from seller's city till 1.08.14. Really concerned about delivery, I called Snapdeal customer care to know when the product will be delivered but as usual it was of no help as he didn't say anything more than what was mentioned there in site.


After disconnecting the phone I again called the customer care and asked that what if I want to cancel my order, the lady on other side seemed to be pretty supportive and told me that she will forward the cancellation request from her end and as the product in shipment I shall not accept to receive it if comes for delivery. I was really at ease with this conversation and also agreed to give feedback for the call and readily given her full marks.


However that seemed to be the last and only good thing on offer as my ordeal of dealing with snapdeal started soon after. On 3.8.14 I received a call from Bluedart regarding my order for which over the phone only I informed him that I have already put up a request for cancellation of this order. The courier guy said OK and he even didn't visit me.


After this I checked my order status on 4.8.14 and found that it has not been cancelled and still showing in transit when I checked Bluedart it was showing "refused to accept". I again called customer care and narrated whole thing to him and was informed that my order will be cancelled in 48 hrs time and I shouldn't worry at all as money paid is safe which will be returned soon after the product is received back. Somewhat convinced I said OK and waited for two days before checking order status on 6.8.14. Now the unexpected happened, when I checked Bluedart site as the snapdeal hadn't cancelled the order yet, the same line "refused to accept" was being repeated on each day entry after 3.08.14.


Now badly miffed I again called the customer care and the lady on other end was only repeating that product is not received back from courier partner and they can't do anything for that. When I asked that if the product is not returned for lets say 1 month then also it will be same and other than that I should wait and my money is safe and will be returned she didn't have much to offer.


Anyway like a Bechara customer I waited again and checked the site today on 8.8.14 and guess what to my horror the Bluedart site was still repeating the same line "refused to accept" daily from 3.8.14 to 7.8.14. OMG, I called customer care but again he was not going beyond the lines I have been hearing from day one. When I asked that I want to escalate my problem so what are the other channels I can try to which he said drop a mail at customer care and some sr. executive will call me back. I have done that also and now writing this review as I don't have any other channels to vent my feeling at the moment.


As my orrrrrrrrdeal is still on please pray that I should get my money back and I promise that I will not repeat the mistake again.Here one thing I would like to add that I am very regular user of online shopping and great votary of it but when the Snapdeal no.2 e-retailer in country is functioning in this way leaves a lot to be desired by the customers.
