I WOULD LIKE TO HIGHLIGHT A CLEAR CASE OF CHEATING BY SNAPDEAL.


I PLACED AN ORDER FOR THE FOLLOWING ITEM ON SNAPDEAL WEBSITE:


Davidoff Deodorant Men=100ml=(Buy 1 Get1 Free)


WHEN I RECEIVED THE DELIVERY, THE ITEM DELIVERED WAS:


Davidoff Deodorant Men=75ml=(Buy 1 Get1 Free).


I COULD HAVE CONSIDERED THIS AS A MISTAKE THAT THEY DELIVERED 75ML AGAINST 100ML, BUT WHAT CAME AS A SHOCK TO ME WAS THAT THE ORDER WAS AMENDED BY SNAPDEAL ON ITS OWN WITHOUT ANY INTIMATION TO ME. INVOICE AND ORDER SUMMARY SENT BY THEM SHOWED 100ML.

WHEN I SPOKE TO THEIR EXECUTIVE TO RAISE THIS DISCREPANCY, INSTEAD OF ACCEPTING THEIR MISTAKE, HE FIRST TRIED TO PUT THE BLAME ON ME THAT I MIGHT HAVE NOTED WRONGLY WHILE PLACING THE ORDER AND TOLD ME THAT THERE IS NO CHANGE IN THE ORDER HISTORY AND THIS IS RIDICULOUS!


WHY HAVE THEY RAISED THE INVOICE FOR Davidoff Deodorant Men 100ml(Buy 1 Get1 Free) IF I PLACED THE ORDER FOR Davidoff Deodorant Men 75ml(Buy 1 Get1 Free)?


THEY SHOWED SOMETHING ELSE WHILE PLACING THE ORDER, AND DELIVERED SOMETHING DIFFERENT.AND ABOVE THAT CHANGED THE ORDER ON THEIR OWN.RESORTING TO THESE KIND OF CHEAP TACTICS IS NOTHING BUT FRAUD AND A CLEAR CASE OF CHEATING THE CUSTOMER!


The least expected would have been an apology from their customer services team for the wrongdoing on their part by amending my order without any intimation to me and with no order change history at your end and prompt refund!


But, it was my mistake. It has been more than 10 days that the item was returned and refund request was raised but still the refund has not been processed.


I thought they would have at least some courtesy that they will ensure prompt refund but look at their shameful behaviour!
