I am writing a review on MS like after 2 years, but believe me I am so pissed off with  Snapdeal.com that I cannot bear it anymore.


My story begins on the 15th of July(The day I regret the most) when I decided to buy a 32" Micromax LED TV from Snapdeal as they were giving at a cheaper price than anyone else (ORDER NO. 2439097652). I had no idea that for that deal I would have had to wait for 15 days to be delivered and still no response from either their team or the courier.


On 15th of July I booked a Micromax TV for a COD delivery from Snapdeal.com and on their deal checkout I was shown that the estimated date of delivery will be 21st July. I was quite content with the fact that I was going to get a great deal on TV and that to with less that a weeks waiting. But this deal itself has turned into my nightmare as my TV is not yet delivered to me and it has been 15 days since I have ordered for my TV which is still rotting with the courier company and all Snapdeal Customer care responds to me with, "Sir you are our privileged customer we will assure your delivery"


So taking it forward since the date of order i.e 15th July, snapdeal never processed my order to the vendor before 17th of july and in the end the courier company i.e Gati services(It's name should be changed to third class Ghaati services) was given the shipment only on 19th July which snapdeal had promised as 16th july. SHOCKING!


After this, the Estimated date of Delivery on snapdeal was still showing as 21st July and on Gati services it was showing as 24th July. Wow, I was dumbstruck by the communication between snapdeal and Gati. Later on 20th July Snapdeal decided to change the estimated delivery date to ASSURED DELIVERY DATE as 24th july and I as a customer was not informed from either snapdeal or Gati services. I waited patiently checking my courier status time and finally my courier arrived at Gati services Panvel on the 23rd of July. I was happy that the assured delivery date will be fulfilled by snapdeal(as I stay in Mumbai and Panvel to the place I stay is hardly 1 hour journey). 24th of July came and I was desperately waiting for a call from Gati services, the call never came. I started to give reasoning to myself for the delay but what could I have blamed it on? It was not raining or there were no floods, I was not extreme heat that vehicles could have melted. so again I was disappointed. Later that night I got an apology email from snapdeal that my shipment is delayed. My assured delivery date on Gati services was changed from 24th to 26th july


On 26th again the same, no courier at my doorstep! So, I decided to call Gati services, spoke to their customer care(they are very professional in speaking for sure but not so professional in their delivery). 10 calls and all the 10 times they raised a complain to their complain team and I was assured 10 times that some expert will call me within 4 hours and resolve the issue. Their expert was the best of al customer support as I never got a call from one. May be they were making up an imaginary expert or just that their expert was laid back, but believe me I never got a single call from that so called expert. All these times I was calling snapdeal also and nothing was changed.


Yesterday on 28th July I called up Snapdeal again, a lady executive got the call. I asked for the status of my delivery, and Voila my assured deliver date was changed from 26th July to 30th July without any intimidation from either brands!(It is still shown as 24th July on Snapdeal and 26th July on Gati). I am totally confused who to believe as the exec says something and online on both the services it is something different.


It's 30th July  tomorrow, I have lost all my faith on both the services and I have given up on my TV already, All I want to ask SNAPDEAL is why the hell do you all promise fake dates when you all cannot deliver on time(this is my second big purchase from snapdeal, even that was delivered only after 12 days of me waiting) and from Gati services that Is my TV walking from Panvel to Andheri? Guys, you both have the worst service ever and I regret the day I got greedy and ordered from you.


UPDATE:


30th July came and I never received my Micromax LED TV. I called us the customer manager of snapdeal.com only to come to know that he was very RUDE. He told me in simple hindi, "SIR AAPKA TV GHUM GAYA HAI AUR HUM AAPKO TV NAHI DE PAYENGE. AAP PHIR SE EK BAAR ORDER KAR LIJIYE SNAPDEAL SE" and I was like, What the hell is wrong with you people. Frustrated with all this, I decided to cancel my order to which Snapdeal.com said that the order cannot be cancelled as it was already processed. Again a bummer! Why should I as a customer suffer for their incompetence? I asked Snapdeal to Go to HELL and decided I will never order anything from this website. On the 2nd of August I ordered the same TV from other e-commerce website and I received it in 24 hours straight.


Exactly 1 month after this incident, I got a call from Snapdeal.com and a lady executive was very excited to say, "Sir we have found your TV and we will be shipping it to you soon". LOL!
