It's waste to have a thought to buy a product from SNAPDEAL.
I have placed an order for Blue Star 1 Ton 5 Star 5HW12ZCS1 Split Silver Air Conditioner on 18.03.2015 from SNAPDEAL. Original cost is Rs.35, 300/- offer discount is Rs.3310/-. On march 18th SNAPDEAL showcased an offer on AC's stating that if the product cost is above Rs.30, 000/- there was a discount of Rs.3000/-. So after the discounts applied the final cost is Rs.28, 990/-.
Initially the estimated shipping date is on 21st of march. On 21st, they have changed the date to 25th march. Then on 25th march morning the order got cancelled. After seven days of waiting, the order got cancelled:-( due to non availability of stock with their seller.
I have checked on 25th march for the same product and the cost is Rs.33, 888/- from the same seller.
I made a call to customer care. Their response is as below:
When the product cost is at discounted price i.e, Rs.28, 990/- the product is out of stock. But if the product cost is at Rs.33, 888/- the product is in stock from the same seller. And they are asking me to buy from same seller at the new cost. Is it a kind of Fraud with SNAPDEAL or SELLER? And I have requested the CC Supervisor of SNAPDEAL is there anyway they can help me on this? They said as per the terms and conditions of SNAPDEAL they can cancel the order anytime. If you want a product buy it at new cost is their response.
The same kinda worst experience I had already with SNAPDEAL once on Feb 13th for Dell 15R 5537 TSscreen Laptop(4th GenCore i5-4200U- 4GB RAM- 750GB HDD- 39.62cm(15.6) TSscreen- Win 8- 2GB AMD Radeon HD 8670M Graphics)(Silver). The product cost they had shown after discount is Rs.15, 650/-. And I have ordered two laptops. This order also got cancelled and they said the price was updated wrongly on site. In this case may be its a mistake of entering the price in site.
But I am very disappointed with my recent order regarding Air Conditioner.
I suggest everyone don't trust SNAPDEAL.
I can't give a rating for the product as I didn't get the product itself:-(
