I decided to purchase a Philips 22" full HDTV TV. I searched lot of websites, after a while zeroed on to Snapdeal for cheap and the best offer.


I checked mouthshut.com for reviews about snapdeal.reviews were mixed about service of Snapdeal. Some were very negative, while some were positive. I decided to gave a try for my first purchase from Snapdeal.


I ordered a Philips 22" PFL 3958/V7 model vide order no.1575672730 on 5th of January. The website said that it will be shipped within 2 days i.e by 7th January. On 7th January I received a message from Snapdeal that your product is ready for dispatch and will be shipped in 48 hrs, so little backtrack from dispatch with in 1-2 days.


But on 9th January I received sms as well as email giving docket number. Finally TV arrived at my end on 14th Jan. Courier company did not deliver to my address, but requested me to collect from their office giving various excuses.


As the packet was light weight I brought it from courier office without any problem. TV was well packed and brand new. I installed it myself after informing Philips helpline. TV worked ok and for the past 3 days it has not given any problem.


So I'm happy from my first purchase from Snapdeal.
