I had ordered a mug from snapdeal to be gifted to my friend a month ago. AT the beginning everything looked promising but when the mug reached my friend it was broken to 2 pieces.
Moreover, the item was just left at my friend’s office reception without even waiting to confirm if the item was intact. They had done very good packing outside so my guess is, a broken item was sent to my friend.
And things got worse as my friend was traveling that evening and hence could not track the whole issue.We sent emails to SnapDeal and for some reason they kept asking us to send pictures of the item. Who on earth would carry a broken mug while traveling to send these people pictures of the mug?
After all the follow up finally when my friend returned from his travel and sent the pictures SNAPDEAL said they’re policy requires updates within 24 hrs else nothing can be done. This is the first time I have bought anything from SNAPDEAL and will be LAST TIME too. I have ended up buying a broken mug and made a fool of myself.Thanks to SNAPDEAL.
Kindly ensure that you confirm your item is in good shape and as you expect it to be before you send their courier guy back…If it isn’t then please ensure you sue these people in court as they have least amount of empathy or guilt of not being able to retain a customer’s trust.
