I had ordered HP laptop(HP Envy 15T-J000 Touchsmart) Order ID:1558729039 from snapdeal on 30 dec 2013. There was no'cash on delivery' option so I made full payment from my debit card. The estimated shipment date for product was 31 Dec 2013.


As my laptop was not shipped, I sent many mails to'writetous@snapdeal.com' and'help@snapdeal.com' and also called their customer care number. I did not receive any reply from snapdeal except'Thank you for contacting snapdeal'. Their customer care number is even worse, Every time they will say'We will ship it within 2 days and someone from snap deal will call you' but no one called me from snapdeal regarding delay of my order.


Then 15 days after placing order snapdeal sent me mail that'Your order is cancelled and you will get refund in 7-10 days'. I had talked with snapdeal customer care executive on 14 jan only and he had told me that he will look into the issue and will try to dispatch the product as early as possible and within 12 hours snapdeal sends me mail of cancellation of my order. First I want to know how can snapdeal just cancel an order without asking the customer.


The reason for cancellation is'Out of stock'.How did snapdeal took payment if product was not available with them and it took 15 days for snapdeal to come to know that product is out of stock. and you want customer to believe this. I have lost many good offers which were there for new year and they want me to just take refund and keep my mouth shut.I want the laptop I ordered to be delivered at same price which I have already paid.


This is clear case of cheating to customer. First take full payment from customer, keep it for 15 days then just refund it back(I have not received refund yet). They must be doing it with many customers and keeping liquid money for them at all the time.


I will never buy anything from snapdeal again. This was very bad experience from snapdeal. Their customer care is of no use but only empty promises. I am feeling that they must be doing it with many other customers under disguise of 'Trustpay'.
