I had ordered a Jabra Wave bluetooth headset from Snapdeal on 25th Feb. First I get a sms and mail that my order will be shipped on 1 st March. My first reaction was of shock to know that in these days of Flipkart, ebay, jabong. Myntra where they deliver a customers order within 2-3 days this portal is assuring is of shipping itself after 3 days. On Feb 27th when I speak to check if my order will be sent on 1st I was informed that shipping will be delayed and now will be done on 7th March.
I asked the customer service personnel to escalate my call to her supervisor and my call was transferred to another gentleman who I am assuming was her peer sitting next to her. This gentleman comes on the call and starts rattling like a parrot same lines. When I ask him for a email id for escalation and he gives me some email id of jasperindia.com. I sent mail to that id and post 24 hours nothing happened and then I picked up email id of Kunal Bahl (Founder and Ceo) of snapdeal and wrote to him but invain. Today on 7th my order status still shows as EST shipping day as March 1st and I get standard response on email that my order is delayed and will be sent soon (no specific date).
The company didnt bother to give me one call in the last 7 days and I had been calling, wirting. My first shopping with this portal has become the last one. If any reader of this article still wants to shop with this portal then you know what is in store. In a single word this is the worst online shoping portal with pathetic customer service.
