Snapdeal.com has undergone a makeover. It’s got a new logo, a new look for its website and a new marketing campaign.
And the only reason I use Snapdeal is to order the special edition Maggi noodle bundles that appear from time to time!
Snapdeal – the company – is still number three in the competition and they’re trying hard to get ahead of Amazon. While it’s nice to have more choice, I guess the experts would say that Snapdeal and the rest of the e-tailers really don’t stand a chance to ever go beyond #3. The market always has place only for two leaders. Well, actually only one, but there’s always another one to ensure there’s no monopoly.
So there’s Pepsi vs Coke, Uber vs Ola, Airtel vs Vodafone and Flipkart vs Amazon. If history repeats itself, Snapdeal will eventually get acquired by either Flipkart or Amazon. Or it might eat up some of the smaller e-tailers and try to take on the two leaders again, without much success.
I have personally used snapdeal for buying stuffs for myself and for gift purpose, Delivery time is upto mark(ignoring 1-2 times delay). Am happy with the quality of products I have purchase/ ordered till date. 90% are as mentioned.
I mostly use the Snapdeal App but gets irritated(due to slow speed either App or my internet) so usually endup using website on my Lappy.
Snapdeal is 100% reliable, safe to use for online payment. I use without any fear of Phishing.
Well it’s fun to predict such things, but there’s no denying that there’s a whole team of talented people at Snapdeal trying their best to stay afloat in the competition. Good luck to them!
