Pathetic customer service! UPDATE-False escalation

My order no. is 14184486553 and the ticket raised for this order no. is 26483343 I placed this order on July 13, 2016 and got the delivery on July 16th, 2016. After I received the package I opened it and took one scoop out of it to taste it, It didn't taste according to my preference, the mixability was not upto par and the taste was unpleasant(Not denying that it was Whey Protein but the taste and mixability were horrible), So I contacted them on their customer care number+91 9212692126 on the same day for the return and the CCE(Customer Care Executive) told me that he had registered the request, so I went to the account and placed a return request after confirming from him, The account showed that the product would be picked up by July 18, But nobody came to pick it up, I wasted my time by waiting for the courier guy to come and pick it up, So I called them again on 18th July at around 4:30pm and the CCE guy assured me that within 24 hours I will receive the updates on the return status, So I believed him and waited the other day as well but to no avail since no one came, Then again I waited for the other as well i.e on July 20th, I wasted my time again by waiting for the courier guy to come, but again to no avail, so I contacted them again on the same number at around 5:54pm, this time there was a girl as CCE that picked up the phone, her name was Anuradha or Anupriya(Not sure completely) and she apologized for the delay in this process and told me that the backend team has left, but she assured me 100% that she will keep a follow up on my order, So I took her word and believed her, So I waited again the next day i.e July 21st, No update, No follow up call whatsover, I again got my time wasted waiting for her. So by today i.e July 22nd, 2016 I was completely pissed off and called them, but I kept my cool, I called them at around 3:40pm, again to know the status, as usual the CCE apologized for the delay caused and then transferred the call to her supervisor and this supervisor was a lame rude guy that told me straight that my product cannot be returned because it is a non-returnable product, he didn't have any courtesy to understand the trouble caused to the customer whatsoever, And then the conversation ended on his rude note.


Now the main concern is my time wasted over this pathetic website and their pathetic customer care that makes false promises to their customers and in the end betrays the customer.


This website is a misleading website, If this product was a non-returnable product then atleast  the CCE should have informed me on the first day itself when I called them, Secondly it isn't even mentioned on the Product Page that it is a non-returnable product(Atleast other websites like Amazon doesn't mislead their customers in this regard, if an item is non-returnable, they mention it in bold letters that the particular item is a non-returnable item).


I regret shopping from Snapdeal, I faced a similar issue around 1 and a half year ago as well, I purchased 1LB of Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey Protein, these misleading guys they sent me a non-gold standard one that contains less amount of protein per serving, but the product page showed that it is a gold standard one, So at that time I didn't even open the Whey Protein, so they accepted the return, and to this day the same item i.e 1LB of Optimum Nutrition has a picture of Gold Standard written on the product page. But I guess I know that this has nothing to do with my current issue, I just told this 1lb story of mine just to let you guys know about the misleading tactics of Snapdeal.


And it's not about the product alone, it's about the false promises and my time wasted waiting for these pathetic people to process the return, as it is showing in my account that your return is processing, The entire website is misleading, from the product page to the Order page.


I'm very dis-satisfied with their after sales customer service, and I won't recommend this website to even my worst of the worst enemies.


UPDATE -: False Escalation Raised


These numbnuts raised a false escalation assuring me that they will sort out the problem, all they did was sending me an SMS that they tried contacting me but my phone wasn't reachable which is a false allegation, I received calls from other people the whole day.


Secondly, they sent me an email that this item cannot be replace, these stupid numbnuts apparently didn't even read my mouthshut review properly, because they would know that this is not a complaint but an overall review of their stupid deceiving greedy website!


This is the email message they sent to me given below -:


" We tried contacting on your numbers 8376057269, 9312657677.We would like to inform you that your purchased item is non-returnable and hence, cannot be returned or replaced.
