Please I request online shoppers to stay away from Snapdeal. I placed an order on this website on 26 Jan for a watch partly by cash and partly by SD cash. I began to get concerned when I didnt get my order even after 15 days. Numerous calls to the customtakeouter support later they gave me a complaint number. The BPO guy didnt even know if the product was in stock.
All he kept saying was that their system was slow and it was taking too long time to load. Later he gave me the complaint number. I emailed their manager Mr Abhishek Jindal at abjishek.jindal@jasperindia.com and also to their MD Mr. Kunal Bahl at kunal.bahl@jasperindia.com. None of these emailed were replied. Then one morning I got a email from some Rashi Kaushik stating that she wud update me about my order in 24-48 working hrs. I hit back stating that if she wouldnt, I wud drag these guys to the consumer court. Of course after 48 hrs, I didnt get any response from them. I filed my complaint thru my lawyer on https://core.nic.in (believe me guys, only this website can solve consumer grievances.) I took the relevant snapshots of the complaint filed by me and emailed the snapdeal guys these snapshots along with the complaint number provided by CORE.
Within 20 minutes, the BPO girl called me up stating that if she cudnt ship the order within 24 hrs, Snapdeal would refund my order. Not surprisingly, they didnt ship it and emailed me stating that snapdeal would refund my order within 7-21 days. No mention was done regarding the SD cash which was used during the transaction. SD cash is something which the user of snapdeal earns after referring other customtakeouters to snapdeal. I used Rs. 82 SD cash which was used for 82 rupees discount from the purchase amount. Who wants it ? I dont.
So plz guys I request u not to order from these guys...there are lots of better online sites like koovs.com and letsbuy.com where u can get cooler deals. Very horrible experience. Anyone gone thru the same situation, plz post comments here. If there was a star lower than one star rating, I would have given it to them. Screw these snapdeal guys
