I have purchased many items from the snapdeal in the past 5-6 years. Initially, there were some issues with the website like wrong uploading of items, automatic cancellation of orders, no messages for the delay in delivery, non receipt of invoice etc., but snapdeal has improved a lot and the website is working now flawlessly.
As far as price is concerned, I have found the snapdeal is cheapest. However, I always confirm at mysmartprice.com. Products are genuine and come with bill and warranty. Since, I purchase only branded products online where model no and specs are given, so there is no issue with quality.
Delivery and reverse pick up time is slightly higher in snapdeal in comparison to others. Returns within 7 days is easiest but if you are not able to open the packet and item is defective/broken, then there is no solution.
There is some deterioration in customer care. Initially(4-5 yrs back) the executives or senior persons were looking in to the problems, but the same are being attended now by non professionals. They never transfer the call to higher officer and always tell that a call back will be arranged. If you do not take the call, complaint is cancelled. It is better to communicate through email.
I have noticed warranty conditions like time period/ spares replacement etc are modified in few products to make it cheaper. We should confirm from snapdeal before making purchase.
Overall I am satisfied with snapdeal.
