I placed an order for 5 lts of Farell Olive oil on the 29th of November. Since there was a possibility that it may arrive while I was not at home, I paid for it through netbanking. The site said it would be shipped in 3 - 5 working days.
I checked on the 1st of December and was happy to see that it had been shipped. By 10th of December when I did not receive the product, I called their customer service and was informed that the order had been shipped, according to their system and it would be delivered by the 13th. I asked her to check where it was shipped from and on what date. She informed me that it was shipped on the 1st of dec from Delhi.
So of course I asked her if it was normal for it to take 10 days for a shipment from Delhi to Mumbai? she said no, and that she would check on the courier and escalate the matter and that someone would call me within 48 hrs with information of when the product would reach me. When after 5 days, I received neither a call nor the product, I called back and was informed that the product would reach me on the 19th of Dec.
All question got exactly the same responses as the earlier call had. Problem was being escalated and I would get a call informing me of the status within 48 hrs. 19th came and went and no product STILL. Today when I tried to cancel the order, the site informs me that I cannot cancel it as *"product has been shipped and is in transit" Another call to the customer service and I am informed that they cannot tell me anything as their system is down.
