Bad first experience with snapdeal

Bought oil heater on 26th november 2014. Paid fully by credit card. Got a delivery date of 4th dec 2014. I got an email from snapdeal a day later, telling that the product has been shipped and is with bluedart and they gave me their tracking number.


So, I was waiting for the product to arrive. 4th Dec passed, but no one showed up with the product.


I emailed snapdeal for this, so I get a reply the next day i.e. 6th dec 2014 that due to stock unavailability they could not send the product where as they emailed me earlier that product has been shipped already and gave me Bluedart tracking number.


Now, on their website on my orders section they changed the delivery date to 10th dec 2014. Also, made my product un cancelable there.


So, basically I cannot cancel it nor I can get it and spend my winters without heater or urgently buy one from market making a duplicate purchase.


When I call their customer care they say "sorry this is company policy, can't hep." I don't understand when you are not able to meet your delivery deadline, why I can't cancel an order which as per your email is not even on your stock?


Well, now I have no command, neither to cancel nor to receive the product since I don't know where is my product and when or if it will be delivered or not.


I did a mistake to buy from an irresponsible company like Snapdeal. I finally, have bought the same heater from market making a duplicate purchase since Snapdeal screwed me both for the product and my money.


Needless, to say my frustration and regret to have bought from this company.
