This review is not for the Colaba outlet but for the one which serves the Kadivali area.
Smokin Joe's used to be our favourite brand till yesterday. We have been regular customers of Smokin Joe's and as ususal we decided to order some Pizza yesterday. As it was my brother's turn to order this week he decided on Spicy Chicken Pizza- Sandwich and one Chicken Malabari Large Pizza. The order was delivered just after half an hour. (Not Bad)
And then comes the surprise................. With one Chicken Malabari Large Pizza we got one dead insect free in the pizza (Yuck). We called up Smokin Joe's guys n told them about the dead insect in the pizza and this bright lad on the phone did not know what to do about it. So in order to just shoo us away, he said that he is sending a guy with another pizza.... (Mind it there were no apologies from that side, maybe they were expected a thank you note from us for the bonus)
We waited for that good soul for 1hr but there was no sign of him. So we decided to call back those guys. This time the response was all the more wonderful.............. First n foremost they kept us on hold for 5mins (We are genuinely not interested in increasing our cell bill for these guys at least) and then said that they are unaware of what we are talking about. Though they were unaware of our complaint, they knew that the guy who had left for our place was stuck up in some traffic jam somewhere (maybe intuition)
Then after sometime we receive a call from the guy whom we had spoken to earlier that he thought that we are ordering another pizza (and so he did not even bother to take our order this time). AND EXCUSE ME! Does ordering one pizza and complaint of a dead insect in the pizza sound alike????????
Then this man has the audacity to ask us that what we expect him to do. HELLO! We are not interested in eating any pizza at 11.30 p.m. So we asked him to return our money and then again we had nothing to do but wait...................
By grace of god we got our money back but is it worth all the time, effort and money (mobile-bill) we had to spend to get it back??????????????
In the end all I would like to say is that Smokin Joe?s have lost one of their valued customers who used to order at least one pizza every week.
