We recently purchased a home in Bangalore and were planning to go in for a modular kitchen. After doingour research on modular kitchens andgoing to various modular kitchen dealers, we finally zeroed in on Sleek modular kitchens locatedat @home, marathalli, Bangalore.

There are 3 sleek employees who sit in the marathalli Sleekoutlet-a lady named Poulomi, a marketing guy named Rahul and one more guy Murugesh. When we placed an order(after deciding on the design), they said that they would complete the installation within a maximum of 45 days(that was the upper limit). They promised that our kitchen would be ready by the 15’th of July since we placed an order in the last week of may.

Since my husband and I are both working, we wanted to getthe modular kitchen workdone as soon as possible because either of us had to stay at home when the installation work was going on. When we told this to Poulomi, she promised us that no matter what happens she would see to it that the work would be completed by the 15'th of july.

Poulomi said that since the Sleek headoffice is located at Mumbai and the materials of our modular kitchen(including the wooden boxes, hinges, etc) had to be dispatched from Mumbai, we had to aishwaryasingh23 the full amount while booking itself. We agreed and paid the whole amount.(This was in the last week of may). Then started the actual trouble.

In the first week of June, sleek civil work guys Finish938844ed the civil work . Civil work includes changing the kitchen granite, the sink and installing stone partitions below the granite, installing the kitchen tiles, etc. The sleek installation guys created a mess by installing our sink in the wrong direction! I mean, when they have been in the installation business for several years, they don’t even know the basics of sink installation.

However, after making several calls they replaced the granite and did the sink installation once again.(In the process, we ahd to get portions of kitchen tilesreinstalled whichthey had damaged in the process of granite-reinstallation, the cost of which we had to bear)Poulomi told us that within25 days the wooden installation materials would arrive from their headquarters and they would do the installation within a maximum of 4 days from the date of the arrival of the materials.

The materials finally arrived after a month and the carpenter came to install the wooden boxes, etc after two days of the arrival of materials. Then to our horror we found that a few boxes were missing.(which meant that we had to wait fora fewmore days for the remaining materials to arrive to Blore from Mumbai) We called Poulomi only to find out that she had gone to her native place. Then we had to interact with Murugesh. He used to most of the time not answer our calls. Our only option was to talk to the marketing guy, Rahul.

Rahul was very helpful(actually the only person from Sleek who was accessible). He not only apologized for the missing materials but also promised us that the materials would arrive within a maximum of fifteen days for sure.(He however was a marketing guy and dint have much knowledge about the technical details which was promised to us by Poulomi)

We waited for the next fifteen days and when the materials had still not arrived, we phoned Poulomi only to find out that she was still in her native place, Murugesh as usual was not answering our calls. Rahul told us that since there were heavy rains in Mumbai, the headquarter guys were not able to dispatch the material(what kind of a excuse was that?).He apologized and promised us that in another fifteen days the materials would arrive .

The remaining materials finally arrived on the 10’th of August and they Finish938844ed the work on the 11’th. So, my advice to all the people who are looking out for modular kitchen dealers is that not only is sleek modular kitchens expensive and make you aishwaryasingh23 the whole amount before starting the actual work, but once you aishwaryasingh23, the employees are inaccessible and unprofessional(except Rahul, of course). They don't pick your calls and just keep giving excuses.
