Two years before, when my daughter shifted to London, before leaving she introduced me to Skype.Now I almost chat with her daily by Skype.We can chat by video, which has more effect.I can know, when she is online.I can send her a message, also.All I need is a Microsoft account. I am not very computer savvy, just know how to use it basically.
Still considering the high call rates by phone, I learnt how to use skype. Now I feel that my daughter is near me while I am seeing and speaking with her through skype.
Sometimes the call get dropped frequently or there is disturbance in the line, sometimes it is difficult to get the connection, but still it is very economical. Whoever found this way of speaking it is highly useful for old people like me who are living alone with the children abroad. Atleast we can speak to them for longer duration without worrying about the bills and can see them anytime we wish.
