Well Guys, Its here .... The First Petrol Turbo of India. What will one want?
Most economical, fuel consumption wise ?(It gives 15 km in city & 21 on highway to a litre of petrol).
while on standing in neutrel with a.c. on it was showing an amazing of consuming just 1.3 litres of petrol per hour. That's great.
And it does 0-100 km/hr in 8 seconds while 0-150 km/hr in just 18 seconds. And according to its speedometer I have tested it upto 230 kmhr. Yeah, I am true, I can send you a photo of the same.
- the braking is above excellent too with 80-0 kmhr in 24 metres and 2.4 seconds.
In 1 km, you can go from 0 to 180 km/hr. Aren't all these figures amazing.
Look men, this is the fisrt ferrari for the poor men. Yes, it drives so nice.
I have also test driven New Accord V-6, Opel Vectra, Camry, Corolla, Sonata, Elantra.
And, it handles the best.
From the normal Skoda, its suspension has been little hardened for the excellent handling. and on high speeds it wont bump also because of hard-suspension. hard-Suspension doesnt mean here you will feel uncomfortable. Its seats are so well designed to give you a perfect sitting position.
I personally always get scared to drive on indian roads, while seeing trucks and handicapped buses coming from the opposite direction, so I always preferred SUVs., but in this car, I forgot that I am sitting in a car. It felt so safe.
Especially the extra heavey beams behind the bumpers add extra safety.
A 3 cm sheet is added to the bottom of the car, so now dont worry if your Skoda touches the speedbrakers or the rocks on indian roads.
Xenon Lamps add extra clearity to the visibility, and you can also adjust them.
Some of the features, it has are :
2 airbags, ABS, MBA, MSR, ASR, Digital computer with all possible records (Distance to be travelled in left fuel, fuel consumption, service indicator) , 2 metres Radar on rear bumper, Hieght adjustable Seats, Reach and tilt steering, Spoiler, Front Bumper Spoiler, A nice MP3 player.
Overall, If you like driving and hate other overtaking you, Skoda RS 1.8 is just for you.
Its got an 1.8 Turbo Petrol 150 BHp engine (Abroad it's 180 bhp ), the same which is coming with Rs 35+ lakhs Audi TT.
And especially if your budget is below Rs 14 lakhs.
Oh yeah, I forgot to tell ,
In 1st gear it goes maximum 70 kmhr,
2nd gear- 120 kmhr,
3rd gear- 175 kmhr,
4th gear- 220 kmhr,
5th gear- 230 kmhr.
HERE's 10 LAKH RUPEES AWARD WHO WILL TELL ME ANY OTHER CAR UNDER Rs. 1 CRORE WHICH GIVES AVERAGE OF 20 KMPL AND 0-100 KM/Hr IN 8 SECONDS AT THE SAME TIME.
I know that nobody can win this prize because there's no such car in india other than Skoda RS.
And its rear seats can be folded like a SUV and you can have a good time in picnic.
