I bought Skoda Fabia Elegance model(Diesel) in 2011 at Rs8 lacs and drove it 1, 32, 000 km so far in 4+ years.
When I bought this car, they told me that this car can easily be driven 4-5 lacs Km. But till 80-85 km, car was doing well and after that it has become an headache to maintain this car.
So far have spend approx Rs3 lacs on its service, parts and tyre and approx Rs5 lacs on diesel due to its poor average. It gives average of approx 11km/ liter in city and approx 15km/liter and company is claiming an average of 20km/liter.
Whenever the car goes to service center they ask to replace couple of parts as they tell that these parts have to be replaced.
Poorest service is being given by dealer every time I take it at the service center.
Recently when I gave my car for an insurance repair, they returned the car with the delay of 3 additional days, after committing 5 days, they returned the car after 8 days and that too without wash and conveyed simply that wash machine is not working.
In previous service, they didn't give me bill while releasing the car and said server is not working.
Before that I asked them to change 4 typres of Apollo. Surprisingly they billed me with 4 apollo tyres but installed JK tyres. On complaining they said both are of same quality.
In last visit, when I reached at service center after confirming the timing on phone in advance, they said its lunch time, pls wait for half an hour, we will hear you after that? No value for customers' time and their issues.
No Resale value in comparison to Maruti and Honda. Even cars like Mercedes or BMW gives half of its value even after 5 years but Skoda is offering approx 30%.
In short, what hurts me the most about this brand is that they don't care for their customer's issues and concerns. Even after registering your complaint with their feedback team, the issues doesn't get resolved.
