Never, ever, buy a Skoda Fabia. The Fabia Diesel I purchased in 2009 and has driven less than 50, 000 KMs, gives me a mileage of 11 Kmpl, has undergone a clutch change/repair twice already, has had its front fender broken, electronic window switches replaced, AC repaired, speedometer nonfunctional, and now to top it all, all the warning lights on the dashboard come on after driving for a while.
I am told by the authorized service agents that this is because of a fault in the airbags and it will cost me more than Rs. 80, 000/- to repair. BTW, each normal service of the Fabia costs more than 10, 000-12, 000 rupees. Now if any of you have been deciding to buy Fabia, think twice. If you know anyone from Skoda, please pass this on.
I am planning to go to the consumer forum. Any suggestions on how to handle this?
