Suave Skin Therapy UV Protection Moisture Lotion

I have used Suave products most of my life. As I was walking down the isle at Target the other day I saw a new line that Suave had come out with for skin therapy. I have used their hand and body lotion but I didn’t realize that they had a facial moisture lotion as well. I was willing to give it a try since it was on sale at$2.99.

Packaging

I believe that the “proper” name I believe for this product is **Suave

Skin Therapy UV Protection Moisture Lotion **as it says across the light blue box that it comes in. It also has a sunscreen SPF of 15 as well as “UVA and UVB Protection and is Vitamin A and Vitamin E enriched, ” which is brought to your attention on the front of the box.

On the left side of the box it states:

“Beautiful, healthy looking skin at a more attractive price – That’s Suave Facial Care”

100% Paba Free

Light, non greasy Formula

Dermatologist Tested

Hypoallergenic and Non-comedogenic(won’t clog pores)

On the right side of the box it states:

“Moisturizes and protects as well as the leading brand. SPECIALLY FORMULATED with Broad spectrum UVA/UVB and Vitamins A and E. PROTECTS by filtering out the sun’s harsh rays to help prevent skin damage that can lead to premature aging. MOISTURIZES to leave skin soft, smooth and healthy looking.”

On the Back of the Box it states the following:

Saving the Best for Last, The Suave Skin Therapy UV Protection Moisture Lotion

Suave Skin Therapy UV Protection Lotion is light in its fragrance with a clean scent. It is also light when it comes to the lotion itself and thin while you spread it around your face. You do not need much of it. It did not leave my skin oily or shiny afterwards and as it claims to be “non-porous.” It comes in a small white bottle with a light blue cap and stands about 4 ½ inches tall. The Suave Skin Therapy UV Protection Moisture Lotioncomes as 4 fl. oz.(118ml) and I do not believe that they make it in any other size.

I liked the product right off the bat from looking at the box and knowing it was 15 SPF as I am much aware of skin cancer from my family’s background. The texture of the lotion was light and creamy and with that light fragrance I mentioned left you smelling clean but not perfumy at all. I would say the scent is close to Suave Skin Therapy Powder Freshwhich I also have used in the past but it isn’t as strong. As I read everything on the box and bottle itself(which just repeats the main focus from the box itself) I feel that Suavehas done what it stated it would do. The plus is that it doesn’t weigh down your skin at all and is light but still moisturizes it. I tried putting my Revlonbase over it and had no problems as far as the mix together so I don’t think it will interfere with your make up at all. Overall like I said, Suavehas hit it on the money with a low cost and quite effective moisturizing lotion with its’ New Skin Therapy Facial Line.

Until next time,

K Parsons
