Finaly skechers lands in India.
Its been rated as No. 1 Shoe of USA for last couple of years.
Have eaten into the revenues of Nike, Reebok and Adidas.
I got my hands errr or shall I say my feet on my skechers in Oct Last year (2004). Let me tell you in one word how it feels and looks - AWESOME.

My way of wearing a sports shoe iswith cool faded sky blue denims with no laces on (I do keep the laces on the shoes - but will not tie them- I dont know why) and here comes the skechers sports shoe of my choice which gives a boost to my height with a 2 Inches sole and without laces too. WOW.
Taking it off and throwing it in the shoe rack is a 2 seconds job and wearing it while rushing somewhere takes even lesser time.
I cannot show you the pic out here as thats what somebody from MS will do (Since its not an option with us) but let me tell you, go to the nearest outlet and see for yourself that it is indeed one of the best shoe you must have seen till date.
I got it from ShopperStop in Gurgaon (India) I was looking for a nice comfortable pair either from Nike or from Adidas, but the sales man on the counter insisted to have a look on either Skechers or New Balancer, I went for skechers and it was love at first sight for a nice pair of affordable sports shoe with no laces.
It is indeed very light.
You wont even know if you are wearing it.
Very comfortable.
If you play basketball - this is the shoe for you - as it gives no strains to your toe.
Comes in wide designs - hell lot more than nike and adidas.
This guy told me that it has given a major revenue loss to its close competitors globally.

Moreover the most shocking thing is that this is available in United States and available globally since 2000 and it has landed in India in the end of 2004.
