I have grown up seeing the Ramanand Sagar directed Ramayan which has changed the landscape of television viewing in India. It used to be festive Sunday morning for the entire nation captivating the gaze of child and old alike. I was naturally curious to see how eternal story of Ramayana can be reinterpreted and retold in this era of animation games, multi channel television media.
I am impressed, I felt the presentation is fresh and it has succeeded in keeping my interest alive. I liked the star cast particularly the side of main protagonist Sita and Rajarshi Janak, their beautiful relation of daughter and father. Ravana is back with more refined animation and we can expect better war animations in the later part. Do watch it and it will always cultivate good values to child and young people once again. I will say it is a better version than epic Ramanad Sagar Ramayan.
