This review is based from my point of view and others view may vary . This is going to be a long one.I had a bitter experience from them, I have studied there for three years(10, 11, 12,). Till tenth my experience was good . Then one fine day they invited me for free seminar on SIJC(Sinhal integrated.) my parents were interested in enrolling me for their course .I was okay then but that one thing worried me was about fee .The fee was initially quoted at 3 lakh but they offered a discount of 90000inr on that day, was it for marketing, well maybe and I blindly like a fool took admission there.

Coming to classrooms, yes they are small and less ventilated only saving grace is the ac .Just imagine how can one attend a 5-6 hours lecture in such a small classroom with no proper ventilation

Blackboard are already weared out. benches are okay but look down you will see that tiles are rarely cleaned.

Lecture schedule: the main deal breaker for me .The lectures for 11, 12 fluctuates like crazy. There were some days, I used to wake up in midnight and look for any updates on tomorrow's lecture. Yes definitely there is clash between lecture and official College exams . I used to hate it . There is no proper timetable like a normal college has, in fact we get updates on our what's app groups so as I said before I used to wake up in midnight.

Teaching experience: yes I must say faculty for bio is really good, and same goes for chemistry and physics but it was good till 11. After that most professor had left and new professors came and they were always in a hurry to finish the syllabus due to that I could not understand anything they taught at least they could have been slow in physics, for me physics is difficult. Alright as an integrated student they have to teach us other subjects like INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY(it) which they were unable to finish the syllabus before our hsc(it) board exam . I am just so upset with this .

Other points which I would like to share is that their brochure says that they have a library. Well all I can see is a cupboard with ncert, hsc 11, 12 textbooks and their official 11-12-10-9 textbooks

So this is their library.(sigh)

And my personal reason: you can skip this .

No college life, I mean there is no picnic, no annual day, no farewell from them.yes I should be aware that this is a tuition classes but I am a part of SIJC which says it is a college .At least in two years they could have given one picnic trip .why am I saying this? Cuz I have paid nearly 2 lakh .there is no co curricular activities over here except we had to make a rangoli in a festive season that's it.

Lectures fluctuate from morning 7 to 10 and 6 to 9 in evening(night 9 pm) and some days a combine of 7 to 2 and 3 to 9 . Awkward timings for the latter part I must say. You will have lectures even on 26 Jan and 15 Aug seven days, seven lectures and timings change for seven days.

When I was in 12 there was no study atmosphere over there . yes there is mistake on my part too but the I want to blame the management for this . I was a good in academics in 10 and joined this SIJC and my performance has taken a dip . Right now I'm frustrated. I tried telling my parents but that's of no use as they still believe in the classes. Kyonki INKA NAAM BADA H! even after my performance has gone down, they in fact blame me, yes I was a little casual in 12 but again that casual attitude have developed by whom? I guess you know this! My self confidence is low .I still have to clear my neet exam and somehow I have motivated myself for the exam. Just hope to get a government seat in college which should be better than this .

In addition: I must mention that there was a dangerous accident that took place in ourbranch. The ceiling of one of the classroom fell due to leakage .Now luckily there was no student at that time . But just think it can even cause death and guess what the management was still not serious about fixing the leakage in other classrooms absolutely horrible. The next day they just painted that particular class and fixed the ceiling with some plastic material . I still think there would be another such incident.

Verdict:

For parents: please it's my humble request to you that you have nice discussion on SIJC with children and I feel that you should enroll them for a regular college as this integrated system is still evolving. if you want your child to study in a good class then take advice from other people who have enrolled their children in other reputed classes and you enroll them in that only .yes integrated gives more time for studies but the children should be able use the time well. My advice would be a regular college with a tuition .

For students:

You will like the idea of integrated at first but trust me when you will finish your course you would not be happy, only satisfied or have a bad experience like me. Talking about Sinhal's I am shocked what has happened to them, back when I was in 10 it was fantastic and now?. . Just Take a regular college. . If you are someone who want a class to study in but prefer to study more at home. Then this is for you . If you have money to spend and want more time to spend at home then this is for you.

If you managed read it completely then you have nice level of patience.

The review was for Vashi branch of Sinhal's

Again thanks for reading . Yes I think I was a being a critic of them but I have only mentioned the truth here . Anyone who is offended by this I sincerely apologise for that .
