Watch it only for Kinng Akki Kumar. Review on Singh is Kinng

Happy Singh, as name says happy fella who loves to help others. Goes all out of the way to make others happy and do care for everybody’s emotions, except his own. But villagers are sick and tired of Satyawadi Harishchandra (that’s what he is been called) and conspires to send him to Australia to bring back Pind da Badmaash Munda ‘Lakhan aka Lucky Singh’. Instead of boarding flight to Australia, Happy with his Rangila friend boards flight to Egypt. Here our Sardar meets Sardarni to dance in beautiful Egypt.

Happy land up in Australia and become crowned as KINNG as real King is no more in position to take decision. He teaches Gandhigiri in a way to Gundas and surprisingly, hard core Gundas become Good. Finally, after 2 hrs of maal-masala, naach-gaana, drama Happy gets married to Sardarni (from Egypt) and takes back Sardars to his Pind.

Screenplays:

There are few funny moments which make this movie watchable. Otherwise there is nothing special about screenplays. We have already seen misunderstanding situations in David Dhawan’s comedies. Nothing is new or loud tickler in Singh is Kinng.

Casting:

I loved the casting. Akshay is no doubt new KINNG KUMAR. He is soul of the movie. You can’t stop loving him every time he comes on screen. ‘Wo baaten badi sachchi karta hain per lagti apane aap achchi hain” ?

Katrina is annoying whenever she delivers her dialogue. Why can’t she stick to dubbing artist?  She needs some acting lessons. Kat, aren’t you bored of playing the same character? ‘Hum ko deewana kar gaye’, ‘Namstey London’ and now ‘Singh is Kinng’ You are same innocent girl who is in love with Akshay but does not realizes till the climax. It’s good to see underestimated Javed Jaffery shaking his legs after a long time. You will feel sad for one of the most talented artist Om Puri. Ranvir will be seen in another meaningless role after ‘Ugly Aur Pagli’. Looks like he wants to be part of commercial cinema and hardly cares for script. Sonu Sood as a real King is impressive.

Other characters are just okey-dokey.
