Hide and seek...do you need to learn the rules if you have to play it again?   So the rules are set to watch for a mindless comedy.  If you are a person who use your brain frequently, please keep it in a fridge, lock the fridge.  Don't forget to lock the room and all the doors of the house then the gate.   It is not advisable to free your dog because it may smell and eat the brain and you have to live in this world without a brain for going for a movie. So, are you ready for the movie?  Yes…we are in the theatre.

The movie begins with a silly Happy Singh (Akshay Kumar) who is always happy and determined to make everybody else's life miserable with his pranks.   The open hearted Happy singh (not for surgery) try to catch a hen for the first 5 minutes of the movie and in this journey what he saw and what all he destroyed is all accounted before the village panchayat.   Happy singh broke the happiness of 60 plus year old Rangeela (Om Puri), whose marriage is all fixed with a 20 year beautiful girl (who happily accepted the proposal possibly on the hope that she can marry for a second time too sooner and possess the wealth of Rangeela).  Local boy Lakhan singh aka Lucky (Soonu Sood) is an underworld don (KinNg) now in Australia and news about him appears in local newspaper.   Lucky's father is an Asthma patient and been admitted to hospital.  Rangeela and other villagers plan a drama to send Happy to Australia to bring back Lucky home and says that Lucky's father is admitted to hospital because of heart attack, on the news about their son.  Rangeela's intention was free romance.  However the villagers sent him too with Happy to Australia, since he is the only person who can speak English.

While boarding the plane, Happy singh and Rangeela's boarding passes get exchanged with Puneet (Ranvir Shorey) and another person who were traveling to Egypt. Happy Singh and Rangeela lands up in Egypt as destined to meet none other than Sonia (Katrina Kaif) a law student.  Sonia's main hobby is to fight all the lawless people. To do this she has learned karate, kung fu and many other martial arts and wandering in the streets of Egypt with an expensive but empty bag.  She knows that people will steal the bag from her and then she can chase them and fight.  This way the lawlessness in the world will be reduced.    In one such experiment with lawlessness Happy Singh chase the thief and get Sonia the empty bag.    By receiving the empty bag back Sonia was so excited and she starts beating the poor thief.   Happy Singh happily permitted the thief to run away so that he can romance with the beautiful Sonia who's another hobby is to change dresses in every possible occasion.    To romance around Happy Singh even turned as a car mechanic using an empty water bottle.    When Rangeela gets back on Happy Singh he is still in his dreams but his dreams are all filled with correct facts and figures which proved in he later half of the film.

Sooner you are transported directly to the palace of the kinng in Australia where the Lucky kinng lives his Don's life.  (We have to understand that in this flight Happy Sing got his maturity to an extent). The known friends exchanged their views but Happy & Rangeela's 3 plus days hard romancing journey comes to an easy and sad end in 3 minutes where they are thrown out of the palace.   The two are now stranded in streets with no money and luggage (which is still flying to reach Australia) and in the same dress.  A poor Rose lady (Kirron Kher) who sells flowers and remain poor (even after she has underworld contracts to supply flowers) comes to the rescue of Happy Singh who start eating Australian grass already.  Happy Singh now helps the shop lady in her sales.  She sends Happy Singh to the ship of Kinng with a blessing filled single red rose.   The rose was so magic so much so that it turned Singh's life upside down.  As soon as Happy Singh meet again with Lucky Australian police start firing on their ship and bullets hit lucky.  Happy singh now have a mission to save the life of the Kinng and a big gang of Australian police to fight.  He uses Lucky singh as his powerful tool and eliminates the entire gang.  Rest of the police and gangs get mesmerized by this and chant 'Who is this man' 'Who is this man'.   The Kinng now is in a special coma, so the gang needed to appoint a new king.

Did I told too much?  Not really.   Watch the movie to see how Singh turned as the new Kinng, how Sonia meet the king again, who is Puneet, how Happy turned Lucky's fate and much more.

The story is all silly and meant only for comedy.  The saving grace is 'comedy' in the film.   It is not polished comedy or class.   Still there is comedy in every minute to bring laughter in one form or other.   The Director doesn't dare to use even the silliest ways to generate giggles; so rest assured.

Akshay Kumar rocks in the role typically tailor made for him.   Katrina Kaif looks gorgeous and glamorous.  Om Puri is now becomes an inevitable part of comedy movies and he justifies it even in this film.   Javed Jaffrey is cool in his double role.  Ronvir Shorey leaves his mark in the small role.  So is Javed Jaffrey in his double role.   Neha Dhupia is pleasant where Soonu Sood is good in giving the seriousness for the role and generating some humour too.  Rest of the cast all did their small roles well.

Cinematographyis excellent.  The music of the movie is quite different and must be entertaining in audios.  In the film however the colourful and rich choreographyovershadowed it.   Red, white, green, yellow, flesh, violet, rose…all colours are filled the screen during those songs.   Choreography is colourful but it is not effective like Garam Masala which I think has the best so far for a comedy movie when it come to mixing glamour and colour.

Editing is the worst part of the movie.   Pathetic!!  Trimming to restrict a movie to a time frame is fine but at what cost?  With small portions of 10 seconds or so would have made much difference but the film was chopped off mercilessly in many parts and it shows!!

Overall, it is a laugh out entertainer.  Again reminding you, don't take your brain to the theatre which does not issue guarantee cards along with the ticket.
