I bought a Singer Mixer almost 4 years back. Known as Lady Chef, It was the sole Singer food processor in the market. It has virtually all the features of Singer FP 450. It has worked tirelessly through all these years. We generally use FP for following purposes:
1) Making batter for Dosa and Idli.
2) Mincing meat for delicious Shami Kababs and Seek Kababs.
3) For preparing Milk Shakes etc.
4) Making Ice candy
5) Making cake batter
6) Grinding spices
7) Making pulp of tomato, onion etc.
8) Salad for big gathering
It is helpful in preparing instant 'Paratha batter' just put flour, onions, salt, green chillies and a bit of water and churn it for some time to get excellent batter for making Parathas.
The plus points of SInger mixers
1) Containers are odour less.
2) They are unbreakable
3) Te blades are very easy to fix and remove.
4) There is saftey lock to ensure that u don't injure your finger while the jar is open.
5) The blades are sharp & sturdy and are in original condition even after constant use.
6) You can add juicer attachment to get fresh citrus juices.
7) Easy to use and clean.
Food processor is definitly better than hand mxiers becuase even if u have a hand mixer, u always require FP but once u have a FP, there is no need to have a hand mixer.
