This company is full of liars who do not know how to even behave with their customers. They keep on lying on your face and to with anyone who tries to resolve issue with them. I flew Bombay to Los Angeles via Singapore. First they DID NOT load the baggages on the aircraft and the flight waited 4 hours on the runway at Bombay airport. We missed our connecting flight to LAX from Singapore. One SIA representative took us to the transfers counter and gave us verbal promise that we are CONFIRMED on next day's flight but denied to hand over our baggages. Next day when we went to checkin counter, the representative said that we are not EVEN listed as passagners in the flight how can someone say "You are confirmed?".
After hours of struggle with different staff at SIA we finally checked in and I tried to find out about baggages and was told that my baggages are ON THE AIRCRAFT WHICH I AM GOING TO BOARD. They CONFIRMED that my 3 baggages are ON THE AIRCRAFT which is flying from Singapore to Los Angeles. When we reached LAX we discovered that NONE of our baggages arrived and NO ONE was even co-operating. We finally filed a missing baggage report and they gave me an 800 number to contact. When contacted on this number the rep said ONE OF MY BAGGAGE IS IN BOMBAY, ONE IS IN SINGAPORE and ANOTHER IS MISSING. We received one of our baggage next morning around 11 AM (That means it was @ LAX only as we reached 8:15 PM on previous day). This baggage was opened by US CUSTOMS by breaking locks. Next day we received 2 of our baggages and BOTH OF THEM ARE MISHANDLED AND HAD BROKEN BODY, BROKEN TROLLY HANDLE. When I contacted them back they kept on giving me different numbers to talk. I talked on 5 different numbers and told the same story to everyone but they DID not accept that it is their mistake. On 31st July I received a call from someone who called me to the Airport with broken baggages @ 9:00 PM so that they can inspect and give proper reimbursement.
I reached at right time they made me and my wife wait for 2 hours with different staff come and talk about the issue. Finally they created a report for ONE of the baggage which had a broken body and asked me to get a REPAIR QUOTE. The local repair shops said that it is unrepairable which I convayed to SIA and again they gave me different numbers to talk and tell the story. Which never helped me. Now I am going to complain to every possible government agency who can help me on the issue. SIA is simply harrassing me and my family by giving me different numbers who talk non-professional language.
They just want your money out of your pocket and lie on your face. KEEP AWAY FROM THESE THIEVES AND LIARS. THEY ARE SIMPLY ILLITERATE NON-PROFESSIONAL NON-CONSUMER ORIENTED CHEATERS.
