An experience to ponder over. The flight by itself , in retrospect was not very eventful. Amiable customer service personnel, flight was late - (but so were all other flights ), all checking smooth.
The buck stops here.
Was wondering about the crowd at the door to the tarmac. Understanding dawned as soon as the flight was announced. Believe me, the govt. bus crowds behave better. Got stuck in the midst of sweating, swearing multitude and was pinched and squeezed for good measure. Had half a mind to stay back.....but....had to reach home.
The ride to the aircraft gave a respite from the unpleasant proceedings.
Woes dogged.
The Aircraft - unbelievably dirty.
The Hostesses - visibly overworked and untidy. Handled the passengers deftly though.
The Uniforms - Check with Spicejet, another low cost airline.
The Food - Cafe Coffee Day has a ball unloading unpalatable food on to the unsuspecting airline.
The Service - Excellent, given the circumstances.
The Food Clearance - Horror! A large, black garbage bag is brought around. ( ! ).
The Passengers - Volvo bus passengers are ( correction - all bus passengers) are gems compared to this. Loud noise, legs on seats in front, bawling babies, utter disregard for cleanliness .........
The Disembarking - Kudos to the hostesses for the smile on their faces.
The Baggage Clearance - No trouble
The Final Feeling - Have to have an antiseptic bath.
Suggestion - Please remove free seating. Cause of all the unpleasantness. Buses also have seat numbers. Need not say anything more.
Would I travel Air Deccan again?
