Economics or life?. Review on Simplifly Deccan

I know cheap and economical airlines are the in-thing today and probably the most economical way to travel. However; I am using only the word economical and not ?wise? or ?safe?.

If you are wondering how Air Deccan provides such cheap airfares, the answer probably is that they comprise safety and service to provide cheap tickets. But, should safety and security be compromised for cheaper air fares. When I mean service I don?t mean ?how cool the air hostess treated me? or things like that, but the service the company renders to their own aircraft. 90% of the airline disasters occur due to faulty servicing.

ATR, which is the airline used by Air Deccan, has to follow the manufacturer laid guidelines of getting at least 25 hours service per week, which cheap fare airline company Air Deccan doesn?t do, because they want to secure their profits and expand their spring hours of operations adding risk to the life?s of their passengers.

The passenger doesn?t realize it because he/she probably wont notice the faulty polythene wiring under his seat, which caused Swiss air to sink into the sea killing 200 people, or the lack of presence of oxygen filters in the wings , which caused an ATA aircraft to blow up in the air due to rapid fuel combustion.

Have you ever taken time to track the air-disaster record of air deccan. You probably haven?t heard of any crashes from their end, but that?s not what I am talking about, recently I read this news that air deccan pilots were having difficulty in deploying their landing gears and made it happen just a minute before touch down. The media reported this is an error on the part of the pilot.

The Indian Aviation sector is not matured enough to adapt to new and necessary use of technology and hence compromises it. ATR is a small company which powers Air Deccan?s fleets, and the company outweighs passengers to safety, which sucks even more. Please think over this, it is just my two cents??.
