Hi Folks,


Wanted to share my thoughts on Air Deccan.


I would want to review an Airline on the Following factors:




  1. Ontime




  2. Customer  Service




  3. Baggage






4.  Seating




  1. Customer Boarding process.




Timeliness: I have different experiences, which I am sure no one has ever had. Have you heard of a preponement of a flight? I have.and been through it. Air Deccan calls me up at work and tells me that since an earlier flight has been cancelled can you come earlier as they have combined both the flights.heights.!


Please call Air Deccan to confirm that you flight is per schedule, they dont. Air Deccan confirms that they have sent SMS to its customers to indicate that a flight has been delayed or cancelled, .I am yet to receive any such SMS.




  1. Customer Service: This is fine.Since as long as you dont deviate from a regular process they can handle you comfortably.If you have a strange questions.they cant handle it.




  2. Baggage: Hadnling is good.and I have not have any cases of misplaced baggage so far.




  3. Seating: Free seating.and god bless if you are traveling with you family.be prepared to split the family ahead of time. may be one of the effects of cheap tickets.




  4. Boarding process: Bcos of lack of seat numbers, the prenial line at the gate forms 30 to 45 minutes ahead of time. Gues this is a part of the indian atitude - form line for no reason.




  5. Onboard customer service: Poor - Poor english language and customer management. I wish they would better locations at the airports too for check in services and ticket booking. Its always in the corner.






Overall, as on of my predecessors mentioned, check ahead with the airline regarding delays\cancellation, be prepared for free seating.and prepare your self for lines and some discomfort during seating.
