Sliver linings Playbook is a romantic comedy drama film released in 2012.Its a story of a person, Patrick who is suffering from Bi polar disorder.
He got released from a psychiatric hospital and starts living with his parents.He tried to get his wife back and not ready to accept that she has moved out of the place and moved on.He went to the jail and then been sent to the hospital because he killed the lover of his wife, when he saw them together in his home.His father and mother tries to get him to normal life.
He soon met Tiffany Maxwell and Tiffany told him that she will help her get her wife if he takes part in a dance competition with her.Patrick gives letters to Tiffany to give to his wife, while Tiffany used to reply on her own in a letter and give to patrick.
They start practicing and soon fall for each other.Patrick father wants him to be at the baseball game of their team as he thinks he is the good luck charm.But they lost it because Patrick gets into a fight.Before dance competition Patrick came to know that Tiffany is the one writing all those letters instead of his wife.After dance competition he accepts that he loves Tiffany and they start living normal life with each other.Patrick is played by Bradley cooper and Tiffany by Jennifer Lawrence.Father of Patrick by Robert De Niro.Bradley cooper has done an exceptional Job and Jennifer Lawrence was very intense.The chemistry between these two was sparking.The whole story shows struggles of relationships and troubles in their life and how they cop with it.The bonding between Patrick and his parents was also very emotional.Good to see Anupam Kher in a small role in this movie.Its a very good movie to watch.
