I have joined a .NET developer course. I think I can do it very well, because I was having some programming experience of C. So C# synatax was not very odd for me, but it is different from C because of OOP approach. There comes too many questions in the beginner's mind.
No explanations of VOID, public, classes and namespaces.
No examples, Only tables and properties were there. Which cannot be memorized in one or two readings, they come handy with programming practice, It was like that copy and pasted content and no explanation at all.
When you get a assignment, after reading all the contents throughly,
You will be shocked because you didn't read anything like that what have been asked in the assignment.
Like parsing values, converting string to date time, etc etc
If you ask the tutor, because tutors are working professionals, they don't have time to explain you. They will provide you code without any explanation.
Reply to your query may take some days. Assignment is to be submitted in 5 days and if there comes a HOLIDAY in between, you will not get a reply from tutor.
Assignments are of industry standard but training is not .
Bottom Line: This course may be helpful for Experienced programmers who want to change their field or MCA candidates who already have good knowledge of OOP and C+ etc. But this course is not for fresher who don't have any previous programming experience.
I am spending 10-12 hours per day, on other online resources and microsoft press books to understand .NET, and to completer their assignments. You will be wondering that they have explained C# and Windows Forms in 20-25 pages. You can understand how briefly they explain and how much a beginner will be able to understand.
If you are a fresher than join some regular coaching institute. I have drained my 10000 bucks.
