Silent valley is a national park that is situated in palakkad in kerala. I wanna tell my peraonal experience about this visit.
Accessbility to reach Silent valley is good. Near airport is coimbatore around 100 km and near railway station is palakkad junction that is connected major stations like delhi, mumbai, jaipur etc. Road facility is also good tgere are may buses, cabs available that are easily visit the silent valley.
Not a single or double local sights in silent valley whole silent valley is very beautiful and all the silent valley is visitable most good things are rivers from the rocks and rare species flora and fauna are attraction of the silent valley.
This is only drawback of the silent valley is there is no hotels near silent valley. If you want to stay therw are all types of hotel arr availble in the palakkan.you can choose hotel and acvomodation according to your budget.
As this is national park so there is no problem of safety because there are so many cops and guards are avialble. So feel free and visit silent valley without fear of safety.
According to me if you want to visit silent valley I recommand you rainy and winter season beacuse in summer too much hot.
