It is a professional college which proudly belongs to the Manipal group which has been in the feild of imparting technical knowledge since more than 50 years now.The Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology has been imparting valuable technical knowledge since 1997.
It is located on the banks of river teesta and is a very beautiful campus to reside in for 4 years.Presently it provides Btech degree in five diciplines namely CSE, ECE, EE, IT, ME. It beleives in giving its students the latest of technology exposure like LAN and openness to unix environment etc to name a few.
Apart from all these the college has been showing tremendous placement records with companies like Tata motors, Accenture, Wells Fargo, ANZ banking solutions, Global IT giant CSC comming over to the campus for recruitmens.The college has an excellent alumni who have established themselves in various high positions in the industry.
