I bought inverter and battery from this company around Jan2011.
Today is 7th July 2011 and till date, I have had to make around 7 complaints since the inverter does not work when the power goes off nor does it work properly when there is normal power.
Problems:
Battery discharges/low-battery as soon as normal power goes off.(within 5 minutes with only 1 tubelight or fan using the inverter)
it keeps tripping/overloading with only 2 tubes and one fan and one PC UPS, especially when the power and battery was suggested by company people and had assured me that I have sufficient capacity to run 4 tubes, 4 fans and PC on it.
This tripping happens when normal power goes, and best part - it also happens when normal power comes back. so my fridge, microwave etc. work, since they are not on inverter, but all other stuff does not coz the inverter is unable to handle them.
- After sales service is not timely/flexible - their motto is not "customer is the king" but is rather "customer? who customer?"
Please do not buy from Sigma Power inverters.
My small luminous UPS works much better. I guess I am going to try their inverter too once I lose patience with these guys.
