Sify broadband is hopeless. Review on Sify Broadband Internet Connection

Guys and gals please do not take any connection from Sify. I took a connection a year back by paying Rs 3000 (cable + monthly charge). From the very first day the internet was not working. I continued and fought for a month and got completely frustated. Calling up the customer care was just to vent out my anger, but no solutions. I stopped renewing for almost a year. Recently I tried again (for the simple reason that I had paid Rs.3000). But the problem is that the connection is still highly unreliable. If you get connected there is no gurantee that the you can connect the next hour. After that it takes 2 to infinity days for the connection to get rectified. You end up paying a fortune to follow up with the customer care. After the end of the month your monthly package gets expired and they would promptly call up to renew the package. I have got cheated by them. Please do not get cheated by looking into their marketing strategies. And also what they claim as 64KBPS/128 KBPS is only the browsing speed which is ridiculous. Their actual dowload speed is 7KBPS/15KBPS respectively.
