My personal experience with Siemens washing machine is not good. I had bought probably not this one but a different model from Siemens in 2006. It was relatively expensive but bought with hopes of better quality and long hasslefree life. The machine developed major mechanical problems within 4 years with repair cost of Rs 9000+. Certainly this is not the quality for which I paid a premium. The response from Siemens was further frustrating. The spare parts were not available for 15 days. At one time, waiting period on their customer service call center was 30 minutes after which I hang up. Overall I got a sense that Siemens management believes that such things happen and Siemens is not responsible for product quality beyond the warranty period.
I would recommend prospective buyers to stay away from Siemens washing machine at the prices which they charge or at least do a quality check with existing users before buying Siemens washing machine and not fall for the brand value.
