Shubh Jewellers are advertising as real price per gram, which might not be correct in real, as they show upto 8% more than today's market rate.
But still they are better and economical than all the other jewellers who will add more than 10% in normal items to 30% in designer items.
On top of that their buy back policy is also really good where they will buy back the ornaments bought from them (if you have all the original bill of that ornament) with just 50 rupees lesser price on that particular day, so their buy back policy is really good.
Only drawback is their range of designs are not so big, of course, those who want designer jewellers are not bothered about cost, so they can go to any other designer jewellers.
Shubh jewellers is very good deal for economical deals.
Best thing is there wont be any confusion while buying, straight away they are displaying on the board what is going to be the per gram rate and what ever the weight you are going to buy that many grams multiplied by the rate displayed in the board. So there is not confusion at all while buying.
Since you will come to know the rate per gram immediately once you entered into the shop, you can easily calculate and select as per your budget and no need to wait for the the time of billing to know exactly how much you need to pay.
If you are thinking that they are going to charge you more, find today's shubh jewellers price immediately once you entered into shop, select your ornament, calculate the price what you need to pay rate displayed on board multiplied the weight of the ornament you selected (today every one is having cell phone and all cell phones have calculator). So now you got to know the price of the ornament. Now come out of the shop without buying.
Now go to any other shop and compare the rate of similar ornament of same weight from other jewellers then you will definitely understand that shubh jewellers is economical.
I stay in Madiwala, to buy a small bracelet to my kid, I went to shubh jewellers which is next to Ayyappa temple, finally I selected one with 4.25 grams based on their price 11800 rupess during september month of 2011 I need to pay, then I went to Bhimas Jewellers which is opposite to Shoppers stop, to my surprise I could find same design brace let but the weight was 4.15 grams (0.1 grams lesser weight than the one in Shubh Jewellers), finally Bhimas said I need to pay 14900 rupees by adding different types of charges to base price.
Now went to some other local jewellers in Madiwala itself, and enquired for the price of similar ornament with similar weight, and they quoted 14200 rupees by adding different types of charges to base price.
Finally, I called my relative who is doing jewellery business in my native place called Kavali in Andhra Pradesh (as far we know they never charged too much profit from us), I have given the description of ornament to him and it's weight etc but never said the price which Shubh jewellers is going to charge me, finally he said he can give it to me for 12600.
With all this enquiries I can clearly tell that Shubh Jewellers might not be sticking to their Advertisement real rate per gram but still we can consider them as most economical when compared to any other jewellers.
