Shriram Automall is the venture of the financial company Shriram Finance and is a huge platform for buying and selling of used and second hand vehicles. The best thing is the reasonable rates of the vehicles because most of the vehicles auctioned there are seized vehicles from banks and finance companies. Also, some individual sellers gets their cars listed for auction and have to pay a minor 2% service tax+ 18% GST as commission if the vehicle is sold.
We recently bought a Mahindra Pickup FB from Automall and had a good and tidy experience there. The process is really simple and the bidder just has to submit a sum of Rs. 19999 as a refundable bidding amount and if the bid is succesful, the company gives a fair time of one week to clear the payments and release the vehicle. Also, they offer attractive finance plans for purchased vehicles.
The staff and the branch manager was good and courteous. The staff assisted the bidders in everything in every way and I really got the vehicle at reasonable price. The company charged 2% service charge+ GST as commission which was fair enough. Documentation and paper work was also good and timely.
